Premier League Predictions - Week 15
- Six of the last seven Merseyside derbies have featured fewer than three goals
- Brentford have scored 16 goals in their last four home league games
- Arsenal have scored 15 goals in their last four away matches
Liverpool will be hoping to land the first blow of the Premier League weekend by winning at Everton in the Merseyside derby to stretch their lead to 10 points.
Champions Manchester City can go second if they can build on their midweek win over Nottingham Forest by claiming three points at Crystal Palace, while Arsenal and Chelsea will also be looking to stay in touch by winning London derbies at Fulham and Tottenham on Sunday.

Everton vs Liverpool (Saturday, 12.30pm)
It is common for Merseyside derbies not to ignite and Arne Slot’s Liverpool should gain three points with a comfortable win over Everton, who have been shot-shy despite a 4-0 midweek win over Wolves. Don’t expect many goals.
Score prediction: Everton 0-2 Liverpool
Aston Villa vs Southampton (Saturday, 3pm)
Aston Villa ended a five-match winless run with a 3-1 success over Brentford on Wednesday and can win by the same scoreline against bottom side Southampton, who were thumped by Chelsea, but who have scored in eight of their last 10 league games.
Score prediction: Aston Villa 3-1 Southampton
Brentford vs Newcastle (Saturday, 3pm)
Brentford have dropped two points in seven home league games and they can see off Newcastle who can be a bit wobbly on the road and have to recover from a pulsating 3-3 midweek draw with leaders Liverpool.
Score prediction: Brentford 3-1 Newcastle
Crystal Palace vs Manchester City (Saturday, 3pm)
Crystal Palace gained a valuable win at Ipswich on Tuesday, but they have scored just four goals in seven home games and that makes them vulnerable against champions Man City, who got back to winning ways against Nottingham Forest.
Score prediction: Crystal Palace 0-2 Manchester City
Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest (Saturday, 5.30pm)
Nottingham Forest have fallen to three defeats in four after an excellent start and 3-0 losses at Arsenal and Manchester City do not bode well for their Old Trafford trip.
Manchester United were excellent in a 4-0 win over Everton in their last home game and can bounce back from their 2-0 defeat to the Gunners.
Score prediction: Manchester United 2-0 Nottingham Forest
Fulham vs Arsenal (Sunday, 2pm)
Arsenal have been rampant on the road and they can come out of an entertaining clash against inconsistent Fulham, who should find life tougher than in their 3-1 midweek win over Brighton.
Score prediction: Fulham 1-3 Arsenal
Ipswich vs Bournemouth (Sunday 2pm)
A 1-0 home defeat to Crystal Palace was a huge blow for Ipswich and Bournemouth, who deservedly beat Tottenham 1-0 on Thursday, can come out on top by the same scoreline.
Score prediction: Ipswich 0-1 Bournemouth
Leicester vs Brighton (Sunday, 2pm)
The scoreline in Leicester’s 3-1 win over West Ham did not reflect the game and they look set to find things more difficult against Brighton, who will want to bounce back from their loss at Fulham. Expect a draw in this one.
Score prediction: Leicester 1-1 Brighton
Tottenham vs Chelsea (Sunday, 4.30pm)
Tottenham were poor at Bournemouth and it is difficult to see them turning the tide against Chelsea, who have won seven of their last nine league away games and who can expose a shaky Spurs defence.
Score prediction: Tottenham 1-3 Chelsea
West Ham vs Wolves (Monday, 8pm)
Both managers are under pressure, but we can expect goals as West Ham have kept one clean sheet in their last 16 home Premier League games and all but one of Wolves’ last 12 league games have featured at least three goals.
Score prediction: West Ham 2-2 Wolves
