The Carabao Cup final between Chelsea and Liverpool takes centre stage this weekend but there is still plenty to look forward to in the Premier League.

Manchester City and Arsenal both play on Saturday evening — against Bournemouth and Newcastle respectively — while Crystal Palace host Burnley in a huge game at the bottom of the table.

We preview every fixture ahead of another exciting top-flight weekend.

Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest (Saturday, 3pm)

Nottingham Forest are targeting their first league double over Aston Villa since 1985 at Villa Park on Saturday.

But they are up against it considering Unai Emery's side have netted in 26 straight home league matches.

Forest have lost 21 of their last 23 top-flight away games against opponents starting the day in the top four.

Ollie Watkins is enjoying a stellar season

Brighton vs Everton (Saturday, 3pm)

The home side has not won any of the last six Premier League meetings between these two — a sequence dating back to October 2020.

Everton have won on their last two visits to the Amex Stadium, including a stunning 5-1 victory in May 2023.

But the Toffees are without a win in eight and have failed to score in any of their last three league away games.

Crystal Palace vs Burnley (Saturday, 3pm)

Oliver Glasner has a fantastic chance to kick off his stint as Crystal Palace manager with a win against Burnley.

The Eagles have only lost one of their last 10 home matches against promoted sides, winning three of their four overall so far this term.

Burnley have conceded 55 goals in 25 games this season — already the third-most they have ever shipped in a Premier League campaign.

Manchester United vs Fulham (Saturday, 3pm)

United have not lost to Fulham in the Premier League since December 2009 — a run of 16 matches.

Erik ten Hag's side have scored 17 goals across their last seven top-flight games having managed just 18 in their first 18 of the campaign.

Fulham have won just seven of their 29 league points away from home — the lowest ratio in the division.

Bournemouth vs Manchester City (Saturday, 5.30pm, Sky Sports)

City have beaten Bournemouth in all of their 13 Premier League meetings — the best 100% record any team has against another in English top-flight history.

Publicidad

City have also taken three points from all of their last four league away games, as many wins as they had managed in the previous 10.

Only Burnley (two) have taken fewer points than the Cherries (three) in the league so far in 2024.

Erling Haaland scored the winner for Manchester City against Brentford on Tuesday

Arsenal vs Newcastle (Saturday, 8pm, TNT Sports)

Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 11 home Premier League games against Newcastle, with last season's 0-0 draw ending a 10-match winning run.

But having beaten the Gunners earlier this term, the Magpies are aiming for their first league double in this fixture since 1995.

Mikel Arteta's side have failed to score in three of their last four top-flight matches against Newcastle.

Wolves vs Sheffield United (Sunday, 13.30pm, Sky Sports)

Wolves are unbeaten in eight straight home league games against Sheffield United.

And after winning five of their last eight top-flight matches overall, Gary O'Neil's side will fancy their chances against the bottom-place Blades.

The visitors have already lost five Premier League matches by at least five goals this season — the joint-most of any one team in a single campaign.

West Ham vs Brentford (Monday, 8pm, Sky Sports)

Brentford have won all five of their Premier League meetings with West Ham, scoring two or more goals on every occasion.

Publicidad

And the Hammers are in dreadful form, losing their last three league games with 11 goals conceded and none scored.

Visiting striker Ivan Toney has netted five times in his last seven London derbies.
