Anthony Joshua is adamant he will be crowned undisputed world heavyweight champion later this year — and he wants it to happen at Wembley.

The WBA Super, WBO and IBF title-holder has signed his side of the deal to face WBC kingpin Tyson Fury in the summer. 

Fight fans are desperate for news of a date and venue for the showdown, which is expected to take place in July or August.  

And Joshua, 31, insists an official announcement is edging ever closer.

Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, which airs tonight at 9.35pm on ITV, he said: "I've signed my side of the deal.

"We've sent him [Fury] a good offer, one I'm sure he won't refuse. 

"He wants the fight, no doubt about it, so do I. And more than me and him, the public want it.

"I put my crystal ball out there and I say it's going to happen this year 100%. I'm pretty sure it'll be this year. End of July, early August."

Joshua would prefer the mega-fight to take place in front of a packed house at England's national stadium. 

But a host of locations have been considered as the coronavirus pandemic continues to wreak havoc across the world.

AJ added: "Where? That's what's the delay, because of this pandemic. We want to have people coming to the venue. 

"It's just finding the right location. For me, Wembley would be ideal."

Fury, 32, is confident he has the tools to defeat Joshua, who has previously only been beaten by Andy Ruiz Jr. 

But AJ, who claims he will box for another five to six years before hanging up his gloves, has told the undefeated Gypsy King to forget about lifting all four major world titles. 

The unified champ said: "He's not going to win."
