Aston Villa vs Burnley (Saturday, 3pm)

After letting a two-goal lead slip in their away defeat to Manchester United on Tuesday, Aston Villa will be keen to get back to winning ways on home turf.

Publicidad

They are now unbeaten in 16 Premier League matches at Villa Park, though the fact Sheffield United held them to a draw when they last played in Birmingham should give Burnley encouragement.

Prediction: Aston Villa 2-1 Burnley

Crystal Palace vs Brentford (Saturday, 3pm)

Crystal Palace and Brentford are both in poor form

Crystal Palace have put in some decent performances against tough opposition of late but the fact remains that they are without a win in eight games.

Publicidad

Brentford are also struggling, having lost each of their last four matches. With the Bees currently lacking firepower, this could be the game in which Palace end their poor run.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-0 Brentford

Manchester City vs Sheffield United (Saturday, 3pm)

Club World Cup winners Manchester City returned to Premier League action on Wednesday with a 3-1 win at Everton.

Sheffield United have shown more fight since Chris Wilder returned as manager but this should be a routine win for the Citizens.

Prediction: Manchester City 4-0 Sheffield United

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Nottingham Forest snapped a run of seven games without a win with a 3-1 victory at Newcastle on Boxing Day.

Manchester United's comeback against Aston Villa ended a spell of four matches without a triumph but their fragility clearly remains.

Prediction: Nottingham Forest 2-2 Manchester United

Fulham vs Arsenal (Sunday, 2pm)

Mikel Arteta will be looking to point Arsenal towards victory

Arsenal are without a win on the road in three matches across all competitions.

Publicidad

The good news for the Gunners is that Fulham promise to be obliging hosts having lost their last two games without scoring a goal.

Prediction: Fulham 0-2 Arsenal

Tottenham vs Bournemouth (Sunday, 2pm)

Tottenham have won their last two home games but they were fortunate to emerge with three points when they hosted Everton.

Spurs are struggling with injuries in defence so they could have a difficult afternoon against a Bournemouth side unbeaten in seven.

Prediction: Tottenham 2-2 Bournemouth
