The fixtures for the 2023-24 LaLiga season have been released, with the action starting on the weekend of August 12-13.

Ahead of another exciting Spanish top-flight campaign, we run through some of the key dates to look out for.

Jude Bellingham debut

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham is set to make his LaLiga bow away at Athletic Bilbao on Matchday 1.

The England international joined Los Blancos from Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth an initial fee of £88.5million — and he will be desperate to impress from the off.

El Clasico

The 19-year-old will hope to make his El Clasico debut against champions Barcelona on Sunday, October 29, at the Montjuic Stadium — the Camp Nou is undergoing renovations during the course of next season.

Master vs apprentice

On Sunday, September 17, Bellingham will come face-to-face with veteran playmaker David Silva as Madrid host Real Sociedad at the Bernabeu.

Madrid derby

One of the most anticipated fixtures in any season, Atletico Madrid and Real meet at the Wanda Metropolitano on Sunday, September 24.

The reverse fixture will be played on Sunday, February 4.

Seville derby

Another derby always circled on the calendar, Sevilla and Real Betis do battle at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium on Sunday, November 12.

The reverse fixture at Betis is scheduled for Sunday, April 28.

Basque derby

Fierce rivals Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao lock horns for the first time on Tuesday, October 1, at the former's stadium.

They will then meet again on Saturday, January 13, at San Mames.

Long trip

And LaLiga plays home to the longest away trip in European football next season.
