Fantasy managers witnessed 27 goals across the Premier League this weekend with late drama a common theme in Gameweek 14.

Liverpool were stunned by Leeds at Anfield and Tottenham mounted a thrilling comeback at Bournemouth.

Bottom-placed Nottingham Forest were no match for league leaders Arsenal and Newcastle continued their march towards the Champions League places.

We take a look at the best and worst performers from the latest round of fixtures.

Gameweek 14 top performers

Callum Wilson (Newcastle)

After scoring in the 2-1 win at Spurs last weekend, Callum Wilson continued his fine form with a brace and an assist in Newcastle's 4-0 thumping of Aston Villa.

Securing a whopping 19-point return, the striker is doing everything he can to earn a spot in England's World Cup squad.

And Wilson may not be done yet with Southampton next on the Toon's fixture list — they have lost just one of their last 10 games against the Saints and the 30-year-old will be eager to add to his tally of six goals this season.

Reiss Nelson (Arsenal)

Reiss Nelson filled in for Bukayo Saka with an excellent cameo

Reiss Nelson is this week's joint-highest scorer, also on 19 points, but the midfielder did not enter the pitch until the 27th minute.

Coming on for his first Premier League appearance of the season, Nelson scored twice and laid on an assist in Arsenal's 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

And with Bukayo Saka limping off injured, the 22-year-old may find his ownership increase from 0.1% should his Gunners team-mate not be available for the trip to Chelsea on Sunday.

Jordan Pickford (Everton)

Although it may have played out as a dry 0-0 draw, Everton pushed themselves further up and table and away from the dreaded relegation zone after picking up a point at Fulham.

Jordan Pickford was a key player for the Toffees and he picked up a season-best score of 11 points at Craven Cottage.

At a price of just £4.2million, the England stopper may be worth gambling on as his side look to be gathering some momentum going into a home fixture against Leicester in Gameweek 15.

Gameweek 14 worst performers

Diego Costa (Wolves)

Diego Costa has struggled to make an impact at Wolves

It was unlikely that Diego Costa was going to return to the Premier League and not be involved in some drama.

The veteran striker was sent off late in the game for a headbutt on Ben Mee, as Wolves shared a point at Brentford.

His red card led to the Brazilian finishing on -1 points and he will now not feature for the Midlands side until Boxing Day at the earliest.

Gianluca Scamacca (West Ham)

West Ham fought valiantly against Manchester United on Sunday but in the end the efforts of Gianluca Scamacca and Co were not enough to prevent a 1-0 loss.

Scamacca was withdrawn early in the second half which will have been frustrating for the 1.8% of players who forked out £6.7m for the Italian.

The Hammers host Crystal Palace in GW15 and it will provide the finisher with another chance to add to his tally of two goals in 11 league matches this season.

Trevoh Chalobah (Chelsea)

Trevoh Chalobah scored an own goal in the loss at Brighton

Graham Potter and his Chelsea team were humbled by Roberto De Zerbi's Brighton at the Amex on Saturday.

It was a day to forget for Trevoh Chalobah who scored an own goal in the 4-1 defeat in what was his fifth successive league start for the Blues.

Stamford Bridge will host Arsenal next weekend and the defender will have to be at his absolute best to stop the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus from inflicting more damage on the West Londoners.
