WSL woe

Chelsea are the only Women's Super League team in this season's competition after United and Arsenal's premature exits.

The Red Devils were beaten 4-2 on aggregate by PSG, while the North Londoners lost on penalties to Paris FC in the first qualifying round after a 3-3 draw.

United boss Marc Skinner has called on UEFA to expand the number of teams in the competition.

He said: "I think there should be more teams in this competition so that we can actually then see where the elite level lies within Europe.

"If you really want the real quality from all of the European leagues to rise, then you've got to play them against each other."
