Crystal Palace’s end to the season under Oliver Glasner has been excellent and following their 4-0 win over Manchester United, the question is now just how far can they go under the Austrian’s stewardship?

The Eagles have lost just three times since Glasner’s arrival and they look set for another victory at Molineux on Saturday, taking on a Wolves side which has been struggling for form for a while now.

Given Crystal Palace have put together a five-match unbeaten run in which they have taken 13 points and beaten a quartet of top-half sides in Liverpool, Newcastle, West Ham and Manchester United, it is difficult to envisage Wolves getting anything from this clash.

Gary O’Neil’s side’s sole win in their last nine outings came against 18th-placed Luton while they have lost six times in that sequence, which began with a home defeat to Championship outfit Coventry in the FA Cup.

It has been a disappointing end to the season for Wanderers, who started the campaign with real promise, and a visit from such an in-form side is unlikely to see them return to winning ways, especially given their recent head-to-head record with the Eagles.

Palace have won five of the last six meetings between the pair and given Wolves have gone 11 games without a clean sheet, it is hard to see the hosts containing a brilliant front three of Eberechi Eze, Michael Olise and Jean-Philippe Mateta — who has five goals in his last four appearances — for very long.

Glasner’s brilliance at Crystal Palace has only just begun and it seems a smart play to back the Austrian to mastermind another win this weekend.
