Wimbledon has already thrown up its fair share of surprises in the men's and women's singles draws this year and more twists and turns could be in store when the third round continues on Saturday.

British ace Cameron Norrie and Novak Djokovic are set to be in action in the men's competition, while women's top seed Iga Swiatek will also take to the courts and Harriet Dart will be looking to build on her win over Katie Boulter.

Bet 1: Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard to beat Emil Ruusuvuori

Young Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard proved his opening win over Sebastian Korda was no fluke with a devastating win over Yoshihito Nishioka in the second round and he can see off Emil Ruusuvuori.

Mpetshi Perricard had to play through three qualifiers to make the first round and his opener with Korda featured five sets and four tiebreaks.

But the 20-year-old retained his sharpness in the second round to take down Nishioka 6-4 6-1 6-2 and has built on a run to the last 16 of Queen's.

He looks a solid bet to win again in the third round.

Bet 2: Arthur Fils to beat Roman Safiullin

Another French ace going well at the All England Club is Arthur Fils.

Fils advanced from the second round at the expense of seventh seed Hubert Hurkacz, who retired hurt.

But Fils had led 2-1 in terms of sets in that match and had a match point in a fourth-set tiebreak when Hurkacz withdrew.

Fils was a quarter-finalist at the Halle Open and can oust Roman Safiullin, who had to recover from two sets down to win his opener against Francisco Cerundolo before edging Tomas Machac.

Bet 3: Xinyu Wang to beat Harriet Dart

Briton Harriet Dart was on the brink of tears when trailing 6-2 in a final-set tie-break against compatriot Katie Boulter in the second round.

But she recovered to win that tiebreak 10-8, recording an unlikely win over the tournament 32nd seed.

It was not the most devastating performance from Dart though and her journey could come to an end against Xinyu Wang, who was impressive in a three-set win over fifth seed Jessica Pegula last time out.

Bet 4: Danielle Collins to beat Beatriz Haddad Maia

Set to retire at the end of the season, Danielle Collins could yet bow out of Wimbledon with a bang and she can at least make the fourth round at the expense of Beatriz Haddad Maia.

Collins barely broke a sweat in straight-set wins over Clara Tauson and Dalma Galfi, whereas Haddad Maia progressed to this stage after Camila Osorio retired hurt.
