After a thrilling midweek round of European action, there are some huge games taking place around the continent this weekend.

How much of a strain will the midweek action have put on Europe’s elite? Will Real’s tough 120 minutes at the Etihad hamper them in Sunday’s El Clasico? Elsewhere, there are big clashes in Germany and France, the best of which feature in our 23/1 fivefold for Sunday.

Sunday, 2.30pm

Fading Werder have little to play for and it shows, as they have lost five of their last six gamesin the league.

Stuttgart’s Champions League chase has evolved into a chance to finish second and the visitors head to Bremen unbeaten in nine, winning seven of those matches.

Sunday, 4.30pm

Leverkusen may already have the title sewn up but they are unbeaten in all competitions this season. With a free midweek ahead, they have little reason to rotate.

Dortmund tend to save their best displays for the cups — as shown in midweek — while they have lost at home to each of the top four.

Take the value on a Leverkusen side who have won 25 of 29 matches this term.

Sunday, 6pm

Marseille went to penalties with Benfica in midweek and they are quickly back on their travels.

OM have a dreadful road record this season, suffering four successive away defeats ahead of this trip.

Toulouse are unbeaten in three and they can rally to stop a Marseille side who possess the worst away record in Ligue 1 this term, picking up just 10 points from a possible 42 on the road

Sunday, 8pm

Lyon may be the form team in Ligue 1, but they have lost four of their six visits to teams in the top half.

Paris Saint-Germain were comfortable 4-1 winners in the reverse meeting and the French champions should be confident after their 4-1 victory over Barcelona in midweek.

Sunday, 8pm

Barcelona are unbeaten on their travels this term but that could come down to the fact they have yet to visit Real Madrid or Girona, who both beat the Catalans at home.

Real had a tough Champions League clash but Barca’s upturn in form looks to be over after their midweek collapse.

Real have won eight of their last nine at home and know a victory on Sunday all but wraps up the title, so take them to win.
