With the Bundesliga kicking off this weekend, there’s a full slate of European action to enjoy.

Sunday is packed with games across the continent and below I’ve picked out the five best sides to back from around the top leagues, with the recommended five-fold returning 30/1 with LiveScore Bet if successful.

Sunday, 4:30pm

St Pauli are back in the big time and they’re aiming for a home win on the opening day. Losing their manager to Brighton is a blow, but they host a Heidenheim side who are expected to struggle this term.

The visitors over-performed last season, securing a Conference League berth. They were in European action on Thursday night, winning at Hacken. Following a string of key player departures in the summer, the Thursday-Sunday schedule should take its toll. Back a St Pauli side that have won six of their last seven at home.

Sunday, 5:30pm

Atalanta blew Lecce away on Monday with a 4-0 away win and they can build on that fine start in Sunday’s visit to Torino.

Il Toro blew a 2-0 lead at AC Milan in their opening game and it’s worth opposing them with Atalanta winning seven of their last eight league matches.

Sunday, 6pm

Albacete have won three of their last four home games and they meet an Elche side that finished last term with four defeats in six on their travels.

Albacete won 2-1 at Granada in their opener, while Elche’s 1-0 loss at home to Huesca was their fifth defeat in six Segunda Division games. As a result, the hosts are favoured.

Sticking in Spain, Atletico Madrid’s summer spending should lead them to a first victory of the campaign when they host Girona this weekend.

The visitors have lost key talents from last season’s brilliant campaign and it will take time for their replacements to settle. Atleti have won 25 of their last 28 home league games, so back them for maximum points.

Sunday, 8:30pm

Vitoria Guimaraes have won each of their first seven games so far this season, keeping a clean sheet in each of those victories.

AVS have just been promoted to the top division and they’ve managed one point from their first two games. With the visitors in fantastic form, they’re good value to take the points.
