- Wales have won nine and drawn three of their last 12 European Championship qualifiers at home
- Armenia are on a six-game losing run in competitive matches
- Recommended bet: Wales to win to zero

Wales endured a miserable Qatar World Cup at the end of last year, failing to win a match and finishing bottom of their group, but fans can have few complaints about the team's start to qualifying for Euro 2024.

The Dragons took four points from their opening two qualifiers back in March, putting them in a great position to reach the tournament in Germany next year, and next up is a home assignment against struggling Armenia at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Team news

Wales will have Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson available for selection after he missed the March international break, while midfielder David Brooks is back in the squad for the first time since announcing he was cancer-free last May.

Taron Voskanyan picked up a minor injury recently but has shaken it off and should be involved for the latest batch of internationals.

Wales are unbeaten in their last 12 Euro qualifiers on home soil in a run stretching back to 2011

Armenia have lost each of their last six competitive games.

Both teams have scored in only one of Wales's last four matches, while Kieffer Moore has scored 10 times in 33 appearances for the Dragons.

Prediction

It was a pretty anticlimactic World Cup campaign in Qatar for Wales but they are already doing their utmost to ensure they are at the next major international competition.

They began qualifying in March with a 1-1 draw away to Croatia, nicking a point courtesy of Nathan Broadhead's 93rd-minute strike, before digging deep to beat Latvia 1-0 in their next match.

Wales therefore occupy a top-two spot in Group D, meaning they are on course to qualify for the next European Championship, and they should find it straightforward enough against Armenia.

Armenia seriously struggled in their most recent Nations League campaign, finishing bottom of Group B1 with five defeats from six matches.

And in March their Euro 2024 qualifiers began on the back foot with a 2-1 loss to Turkey, so they should be opposed in Cardiff.

This game comes only a matter of weeks after the finish of most major domestic leagues, so there could be some tired legs in the Wales camp specifically and spectators should not anticipate a scintillating performance from the Dragons.

Wales have won to nil in six of their last 12 European Championship qualifiers on home soil and should again record a shutout against a shot-shy Armenia side.
