Dani Olmo opened the scoring for Spain against Germany last time

- Spain have lost just one of their last 17 matches in all competitions
- France are yet to score a goal from open play at Euro 2024
- No player has taken more shots for Spain than Dani Olmo (14)

Tuesday evening sees the first Euro 2024 semi-final take centre stage at the Allianz Arena in Munich as Spain, who are now the favourites for success in Germany, take on the 2022 World Cup runners-up France.

Spain have thoroughly impressed over the course of the tournament in winning each of their five games, although extra-time was required in order to get the better of the hosts in the quarter-finals as Mikel Merino netted in the 119th minute for the third-latest winner in European Championship history.

France were alongside England as favourites for large portions of the competition but their performances have failed to live up to expectations, with Les Bleus scoring just three goals so far, two of these being own goals.

Spain vs France (Tuesday, 8pm)

Bet 1: Spain to win (Match result)

Spain have been dominant so far in Germany, averaging just over 57% possession across their five matches, and they should be able to continue their stunning form against a lacklustre France on Tuesday.

La Roja have lost only one of their last 17 matches in all competitions, a friendly against Colombia in March, and they have scored 11 goals so far at the European Championship.

France meanwhile have thoroughly underwhelmed and they scraped through to the knockouts in second behind Austria in Group D with five points. No side remaining in the tournament has scored fewer goals than France and this poor striking form could spell the end of their tournament.

Bet 2: Both Teams to Score - No

With Didier Deschamps’ men misfiring in front of goal, it is difficult to see both sides finding the back of the net in Munich and so a win and clean sheet for Spain looks a tempting prospect.

Spain kept clean sheets in each of their three group matches and they have conceded only two goals in Germany, and one of those was an unfortunate own goal from Robin Le Normand in their 4-1 win over Georgia in the round of 16.

France have also looked strong defensively with just one goal conceded all tournament, which came from the boot of Robert Lewandowski from the penalty spot against Poland. However they have kept only one clean sheet in their last 14 meetings with Spain.

Kylian Mbappe, Aurelien Tchouameni, Antoine Griezmann and Marcus Thuram have had 53 shots between them in the tournament, but with just 14 on target and one goal to show for it, they may struggle to break through the Spanish backline and could draw another blank.

Bet 3: Dani Olmo to score anytime

Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal have shone for La Roja going forward but it could be Dani Olmo who gets his name on the scoresheet against France.

The 26-year-old is the joint-top goalscorer for Spain with two goals and he grabbed the opener with a well-taken strike against Germany last time out. He looks full of confidence and is worth backing to score again on Tuesday.
