Chelsea want a striker next summer and have made Napoli star Victor Osimhen their No1 priority.

The Blues swooped for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in September with Romelu Lukaku unlikely to return after his loan at Inter Milan.

But 90min claim owner Todd Boehly is eyeing a big-money swoop for a potent goalscorer at the end of the season as the club accept 33-year-old Aubameyang is not a long-term answer.

Osimhen, 23, enjoys a superb reputation in Italy thanks to his record of 32 strikes in 70 outings for Napoli, who signed him off the back of prolific spells at Charleroi and Lille.

The Nigerian international's agent has made clear that he is happy in Naples and has no plans to force a move this season.

Should Chelsea make a swoop at the end of the campaign, they will likely face competition from Bayern Munich and other European powerhouses.

That will up the pressure on Graham Potter to secure a top-four finish and Champions League football in order to compete for elite talents.

Chelsea have also been linked with Dusan Vlahovic, Jude Bellingham, Christopher Nkunku, Josko Gvardiol and Leandro Trossard with new owner Boehly showing plenty of ambition.
