Daniel Levy has reportedly revealed that Tottenham included a buy-back clause in the deal that saw Harry Kane join Bayern Munich.

Spurs chairman Levy appeared at a fans' forum alongside current boss Ange Postecoglou last night.

The Evening Standard claim that when pressed over whether such a clause existed, Levy replied: "Of course."

But Spurs have distanced themselves from the reports this morning, according to the BBC.

Tottenham's record goalscorer ended his two-decade association with the club after joining the Bundesliga champions in a deal worth in the region of £100million over the summer.

Kane has made a superb start for Bayern, scoring four goals in five games, and is set to feature against Manchester United in the Champions League tonight.

London giants target Toney

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all interested in Brentford striker Ivan Toney.

The Daily Mirror claim a bid of £60m will be enough to land the Bees hitman with the London trio all plotting a move.

Toney, 27, returned to training this week but cannot play until January as he serves an eight-month ban for breaching FA gambling rules.

He will have just 18 months remaining on his contract when the new year comes around but Brentford are said to be prepared to stand firm on their demands.
