Transfer Talk: Real ready to swoop for French fancy Mbappe
Kylian Mbappe will not sign a contract extension at Paris Saint-Germain — and Real Madrid are ready to pounce.
The French superstar has one year left on his deal at the Parc des Princes but could yet move to the Bernabeu this summer.
PSG had hoped Lionel Messi’s arrival might persuade Mbappe, 22, to stay in the French capital as they push for a maiden Champions League triumph.
But Spanish outlet Marca claim the forward is desperate to be a side's main man — which he would be in Madrid.
Though they have long been linked with Mbappe, the report states Real are serious about moving for him this time around.
Mbappe was the subject of whistles from PSG’s fans before their 4-2 victory over Strasbourg, in which he scored the second goal on 25 minutes.
He was then not part of a large group of players who headed out to celebrate Ander Herrera’s birthday, further sparking speculation he is ready to leave.
PSG will not want to lose one of the biggest stars in the game on a free transfer and it may now be the perfect time for them to cash in.
Premier League giants chase Sarr
A host of Premier League clubs are eyeing a move for Senegal’s teenage sensation Pape Sarr.
The midfielder broke into Metz’s first team last term and put in a number of eye-catching displays in Ligue 1.
Now Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are all considering signing the 18-year-old.
The Mail report the trio believe Sarr has all the attributes to develop into one of the world’s best midfielders.
And they would be prepared to splash the cash now before loaning him back to Metz to get another season of first-team football under his belt.
Sarr netted three times in 22 appearances last season after making just one outing for Metz’s reserve team.
And his displays were quickly recognised with a senior international call, with his debut coming in a goalless draw with against Congo in March.
United, City and the Blues are unlikely to be the only sides interested in Sarr and Metz will hope to spark a bidding war.
