Arsenal are keen to offer Gabriel Jesus in a swap deal for Napoli's Victor Osimhen to strengthen their Premier League title bid.

The Gunners have enjoyed an unbeaten start to the 2023-24 campaign and are eyeing attacking reinforcements as they look to go one better than their second-place finish last season.

Nigerian superstar Osimhen was the subject of social media taunts from his own club's official channel.

And The Express claim Gli Azzurri have included Jesus in their shortlist to replace the 24-year-old if he decides to cut short his stay.

The Brazilian international has missed a large chunk of time for Arsenal since joining from Manchester City last summer and notably picked up a severe knee injury at the World Cup in Qatar.

His 17-game absence last term reportedly left Mikel Arteta frustrated and considering other options after already spending big on Declan Rice in the summer.

A swap deal could be on the cards and satisfy both parties, although the Gunners would likely have to fork out some extra funds if they are to land one of Europe's best strikers.

The 27-cap international has already bagged six goals in eight Serie A appearances in 2023-24 to add to his 26 league strikes in Napoli's title-winning campaign.

Previous reports have quoted an asking price of over £100million for Osimhen, who still has two years on his contract in Italy.
