Harry Kane favours a move to Manchester City as he wants to play for Pep Guardiola.

City, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been linked with the England captain but his preference is to switch to the champions.

Both The Times and The Mirror believe Kane, 27, is attracted by the prospect of returning the Premier League title to Old Trafford — but the Etihad is his No1 choice.

It now depends how much Daniel Levy wants for the club’s star striker, who still has three years left on the six-year deal he signed in 2018.

Reports elsewhere suggest Kane wants his future sorted before England’s Euro 2020 campaign begins on June 13.

Berge on Arsenal wishlist

Mikel Arteta is wasting no time as he looks to strengthen his Arsenal squad this summer.

The Gunners have reportedly already submitted a bid for Sheffield United’s Sander Berge — but may need to up their bid.

Football.London believe Arsenal have submitted a £17million offer for the Norwegian international, 23, which is nearly £8m below the Blades’ asking price.

Berge has missed large chunks of United’s disastrous campaign but is expected to stay in the top flight as his current club drop down a tier.

But with the Blades holding out for £25m plus substantial sell-ons after Berge signed a four-and-a-half year deal in January 2020, the Gunners may need to dig deeper.

We have profiled the marauding midfielder and assessed what he could bring to Arsenal ahead of their trip to Crystal Palace tonight.

German Ginter wanted by Spurs, Liverpool

Both Tottenham and Liverpool are interested in securing a cut-price deal for defender Mattias Ginter.

The German international’s contract at Borussia Monchengladbach runs out in 2022. And with boss Marco Rose leaving for Borussia Dortmund, Ginter also wants to move on.

German newspaper BILD claim Spurs have already made a bid, while Inter Milan are also interested in bringing the 27-year-old to the San Siro.

Although it may not be a signing that excites fans on Merseyside or in North London, Germany boss Joachim Low has heaped praise on the experienced campaigner before.

Speaking in 2020, Low said: "I have the feeling that he’s undervalued by the public.

"When he’s played with us, he’s always done his job well. As a coach, you know what to expect from him.

“He’s dependable and he’s able to do what we want him to do, which is to help build the play up from the back.

"He’s improved defensively, too. He has a certain calmness about him, which is what makes him so solid, reliable and dependable."
