Manchester United are interested in signing Everton forward Richarlison as they look to bolster their attacking options.

Ralf Rangnick’s men have dropped several points from winning positions this season having lacked the cutting edge to see teams off.

With veteran pair Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, and Edinson Cavani, 35, their only current options up front, the Red Devils look certain to be in for a new striker this summer.

Goal are reporting that Brazil international Richarlison could be the man to head to Old Trafford.

United officials are thought to be weighing up a move for the 24-year-old, who is currently embroiled in a relegation battle with the Toffees.

Whether Everton stay up or not under Frank Lampard, a move to a team pushing at the top end of the Premier League would be a tempting proposal.

He has shown he has the goalscoring pedigree to succeed too, netting 47 goals in 142 appearances for the Merseysiders.

But United are set to face competition from another high-profile suitor in LaLiga leaders Real Madrid.

Los Blancos reportedly enquired about the Selecao star last year in a move which would see him reunited with former Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti.

And Madrid's Spanish rivals Barcelona have also been credited with an interest previously.

Gazzetta dello Sport say United striker Cavani, who is out of contract this summer, is being eyed up by Inter Milan as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez.

Arsenal will make a move for Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo in the summer having failed to agree a deal for the 25-year-old in January, according to Calciomercato.

The Express say Newcastle will make another attempt to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, despite the Serie A side reportedly turning down a £100million bid during the January window.
