Transfer Talk: Scotland star Gilmour on Norwich's radar

Norwich want to sign red-hot Chelsea youngster Billy Gilmour on loan for the season.

But they will face competition from a host of other Premier League clubs vying for his signature.

Gilmour, 20, put in an exemplary performance as he made his full debut for Scotland in the 0-0 draw with England.

A positive Coronavirus test then ruled him out of their 3-1 defeat to Croatia last night, but the clamour to sign him has only increased after his Wembley display.

The Mail report that Daniel Farke has a good relationship with Thomas Tuchel and wants Gilmour to boost their options in the middle after winning promotion back to the top flight as champions.

Tottenham loanee Oliver Skipp was one of the Canaries standout players as they won the Championship title but is expected to be given a chance to break into the Spurs team in 2021-22.

Meanwhile, there is a chance that Tuchel will opt to keep Gilmour at Chelsea — especially after he showed he is comfortable on the biggest of stages.
