Bayern Munich are considering a move for former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.

De Gea, 32, is a free agent after ending his 12-year association with United this summer and has now emerged as a target for the Bavarian giants.

The Bundesliga champions are on the lookout for a new stopper with current No1 Manuel Neuer yet to return from a broken leg and January signing Yann Sommer expected to depart.

A report in The Times indicates De Gea and Spanish compatriot David Raya, who currently plies his trade for Brentford, are among the options being weighed up.

De Gea has reportedly turned down an approach from Inter Milan but it remains to be seen whether he would be enticed by a switch to Germany.

Meanwhile, The Telegraph have claimed that Bayern executives have flown to London for another round of talks with Tottenham over the signing of Harry Kane.

It is reported that they remain confident of striking an £86million deal for the England captain and are not concerned by competition from Paris Saint-Germain for his signature.
