Bayern Munich are expected to swoop for Liverpool star Sadio Mane after the Champions League final.

Mane, 30, has promised to issue a "special" update on his plans following Saturday night's showdown with Real Madrid in Paris.

But the Mirror and a host of other papers claim the Senegalese striker is seriously considering his future at Anfield due to contract negotiations being allowed to drag on for months.

Speaking ahead of the clash at the Stade de France, Mane said: "I think the answer I can give you now is I feel very good, and I am fully focused on the Saturday game, that is the answer I must give before the final.

"But come back to me on Saturday and I will give you the best answer you want to hear, for sure. It’s special.

"I will give you all you want to hear then. Saturday come back and I will give you the answer I promise, but for now let's go win it because I have no time for other things.

"I will do everything possible to win it because it is my and all the boys' biggest dream, then I will give you the answers."

Mane, who has already lifted the Carabao Cup and FA Cup with the Reds this season, has also been linked with Real Madrid and Barcelona

Real have set their sights on Rafael Leao after being snubbed by Kylian Mbappe.

The LaLiga champions believed they had secured a lucrative deal to lure Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

But Mbappe, 23, stunned the football world last week by announcing he was staying put, with PSG seemingly gazumping their rivals by offering the Frenchman even more cash to sign a new three-year deal.

And numerous sources claim the Champions League finalists are now expected to swoop for AC Milan winger Leao, who netted 11 goals and provided 10 assists in 34 Serie A appearances this season.

The Portugal star, 22, was also voted Player of the Season in the Italian top flight after helping Milan secure their first Scudetto since 2011.
