Kylian Mbappe's Real Madrid dream looks to be over for now

Kylian Mbappe's dream move to Real Madrid looks to be dead in the water until next summer.

Los Blancos are chasing the superstar striker, 22, but Paris Saint-Germain are holding firm in their attempts to keep him.

According to Marca, Real submitted an offer worth £144million with a deadline for PSG to respond by 5pm yesterday.

And with the French giants failing to reply, numerous reports state Mbappe will now have to wait until 2022 to join the club he supported as a boy.

The speedster's PSG contract runs out in 2022 and clubs outside France can offer him a pre-contract agreement in January.

Mbappe has now linked up with his France team-mates for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers after scoring both goals in a 2-0 win over Reims, which saw Lionel Messi make his highly-anticipated PSG debut.

Hector Bellerin could be offered an Arsenal escape route if Emerson Royal completes his move to rivals Tottenham.

Spurs and Barcelona are in talks over a £26m deal for the 22-year-old right-back.

And Mundo Deportivo claim Barca are keeping an eye on former academy star Bellerin, who has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal, in case Royal moves on.
