Transfer Talk: PSG to offer Mbappe £150m signing-on fee
Paris Saint-Germain are set to present Kylian Mbappe with a £150million signing-on fee to keep the French sensation at the club.
Mbappe, 23, is set to leave the Ligue 1 giants this summer when his existing contract ends.
But according to journalist Guillem Balague, club chiefs are preparing to table a huge financial offer which will aim to keep the World Cup winner at the Parc des Princes for a further two years.
The package is said to also include a £21m annual salary and a further £42m to Mbappe’s representatives.
Real Madrid have been long-term admirers of the 54-cap international and are confident that they will secure his services despite PSG’s last-ditch efforts to keep hold of their star man.
Mbappe has netted 28 goals in all competitions in an underwhelming season for Mauricio Pochettino’s men, taking his tally to 160 in 209 appearances for the Qatari-owned powerhouses.
PSG head to Clermont this evening where victory could open up a 15-point lead at the summit of Ligue 1 with seven games remaining.
