Erik ten Hag is looking to bring West Ham flop Sebastien Haller with him from Ajax to Manchester United.

The Dutchman, 52, will take over a Red Devils squad in urgent need of a makeover this summer.

And Ten Hag believes Haller is the right man to provide Cristiano Ronaldo with competition up front next term.

The Hammers flop only scored 10 Premier League goals after a £45million move from Eintracht Frankfurt.

He was sold to Ajax 18 months later and has thrived in the Netherlands, netting 46 times in 62 games, including 11 in the Champions League.

And The Sun believe he may return to England to link up with his current boss again as he aims to crack the Premier League at the second time of asking.

He is not the only player known to Ten Hag expected to get a second chance next term either.

The Telegraph believe that Donny van de Beek, currently on loan at Everton after failing to break into United’s side, will be part of the 52-year-old’s plans.

Van de Beek has only made four league starts for the Red Devils since he swapped the Amsterdam Arena for Old Trafford in July 2020.

And while it looked like his United career was over when they shipped him out on loan to Everton in January, that obituary appears premature.

90Min also report that David de Gea will be offered a new contract as part of the club's plans this summer.
