Liverpool are prepared to listen to offers for forward Luis Diaz this summer should Mohamed Salah sign a new contract.

The Sun report that the Reds are prepared to offload the Colombian, who is a target for a number of Spanish clubs.

Selling the 27-year-old would ensure Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk are retained on new contracts for Jurgen Klopp's successor.

Klopp will depart Anfield at the end of this season but the Reds are keen to keep hold of their best on-field talent.

Diaz has scored 10 goals in 35 appearances this season and netted 21 in total since signing from Porto in January 2022.

But Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo, Diogo Jota and Salah are all competing with the 45-cap international to play in attack and the Reds may decide they can cash in.

Harvey Elliott has also impressed in a forward position recently, while youngsters Ben Doak and Jayden Danns are highly thought of.

The picture would change should Salah leave, however, with Saudi Pro League clubs thought to be interested in signing the Egyptian.
