Luis Suarez is poised to become the latest Barcelona alumni to link up with Lionel Messi at Inter Miami.

Spanish outlet El Pais claims the Uruguayan will fly to the US next month to agree terms on a one-year deal with David Beckham's MLS outfit.

Currently at Gremio in Brazil, Suarez is set to line up for Miami during the 2024 campaign with the option to extend for another season.

He will join fellow former Barca stars Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba alongside Messi in the Sunshine State.

The Herons have already made space for the former Liverpool favourite in their squad having released forward Josef Martinez last week.

Suarez continues to be among the goals in Brazil, scoring 17 times in 37 appearances since joining Gremio last December.

Messi's first season Stateside got off to a flying start but the maestro's injury problems derailed a potential play-off charge.

And Beckham will hope some additional firepower can help his side challenge for the MLS title next time around.

Roma are hoping to secure a permanent deal for Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea next summer by offering former Blues hitman Tammy Abraham in a swap move, Calciomercato have claimed.

Spanish media indicate Real Madrid have identified Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies as a key target next summer.

Real, however, have no intention of allowing midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni to leave despite interest from Arsenal and Liverpool, according to 90min.
