Transfer Talk: Mbappe decides to join Real Madrid
Kylian Mbappe has decided to join Real Madrid this summer, according to Le Parisien.
The French outlet say an announcement over the Paris Saint-Germain striker's future could finally be made in the coming weeks.
France captain Mbappe, 25, is out of contract at the end of the season and a dream switch to the Bernabeu is thought to be his priority.
While keen on landing the 2018 World Cup winner, Los Blancos do not want to enter into another saga for the forward and are eager for a decision to be made imminently.
PSG have been desperate to keep hold of their talisman, who penned a new contract in 2022, but the Ligue 1 leaders have now accepted their influential star will move on.
Though Real will not have to pay a fee for the out-of-contract ace, the deal is set to be historic in terms of the signing-on fee Mbappe will receive.
He will also stay as one of the highest-paid players in world football when he makes the switch to the Spanish capital.
Mbappe has been in fine form for Luis Enrique's side this term, scoring a stunning 29 goals in 28 games across all competitions.
