Transfer Talk: Lingard weighing up offers from 26 clubs including Lazio
Jesse Lingard is reportedly weighing up offers from as many as 26 clubs around the world — including Serie A side Lazio and South Korean outfit FC Seoul.
Lingard, 31, has been without a club for the last eight months after leaving Nottingham Forest at the end of last season.
The midfielder has spent time training with former employers West Ham and Saudi Pro League team Al-Ettifaq but moves have not materialised.
According to The Daily Mail, Lingard has plenty of potential opportunities and is giving serious consideration to a switch to Maurizio Sarri's Lazio.
News broke during the final hours of transfer deadline day on Thursday that the former Manchester United ace was in talks over a surprise move to South Korea.
Seoul's manager Kim Gi-dong recently confirmed the interest, saying: "I heard about it two to three weeks ago and I thought it was unrealistic.
"I asked our director of football about it and he replied to me, 'yes, it's true, we are in contact with the player but the deal is not confirmed yet'."
As a free agent, Lingard was under no obligation to secure a move before the January window deadline but is thought to be keen to find a new home in the near future.
