Chelsea are considering a shock move for Harry Kane this summer as Bayern Munich continue to falter under Thomas Tuchel.

The Bavarians slipped further behind Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga title race after losing 3-2 to Bochum yesterday and now sit eight points behind Xabi Alonso's leaders.

Despite Kane netting his 25th league goal of the season, it was not enough to get the German champions back on track and they have now lost three straight matches in all competitions.

Football Insider reveal whispers are emerging from the striker's camp suggesting the former Tottenham talisman would be open to a move back to the Premier League.

Kane bagged 278 goals during his time in North London, becoming Spurs' all-time top goalscorer and shattering hearts when he announced his departure last summer.

Moving to Chelsea would see him reunite with one of his former managers in Mauricio Pochettino but would likely stir up anger from his boyhood club.

Bayern paid around £86million for the 30-year-old who only had one year left on his deal but the Blues believe they could finalise an agreement for a similar amount despite the England captain being contracted in Munich until 2027.

Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen have also been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge but adding Kane would bring balance and leadership to a young and inexperienced squad.
