Chelsea are eyeing Ivan Toney and Evan Ferguson as their search for a new No9 intensifies ahead of the summer.

The Blues would ideally look to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli but are aware Paris Saint-Germain want him as a replacement for Real Madrid-bound Kylian Mbappe, according to The Standard.

And a domestic forward may fit the bill for Mauricio Pochettino as he aims to bolster his attacking options.

Brentford's Toney, 27, has scored three goals in four games ahead of today's match against Liverpool since returning from an eight-month suspension.

And with less than 18 months remaining on his Bees contract he is very likely to be lining up for a new club next season.

Ferguson, 19, signed a new long-term deal at Brighton last year but that does not rule out a switch.

The Seagulls have a reputation for selling their best players for huge money, including star midfielder Moises Caicedo to Chelsea in the summer of 2023.

And the West London club could be interested in doing a deal for the Republic of Ireland teenager 12 months later.

PSG are also looking at Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez and AC Milan's Rafael Leao as potential replacements for Mbappe, according to reports in Italy.

Football Insider report that Liverpool are interested in doing a deal for Leeds prodigy Archie Gray, who has impressed in midfield and at full-back in the Championship this term.

Wolves are holding out for a club-record fee for star man Pedro Neto this summer, say The Standard, with Arsenal and Tottenham keen.
