Barcelona are keen on a January loan move for Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.

A report in 90min indicates Barca have the Argentine on their list of options to replace Gavi, who was ruled out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury sustained last month.

Lo Celso, 27, has enjoyed a resurgence in the Spurs team amid their injury crisis that has ravaged many of their first-choice options — including star creator James Maddison.

He has started three of Tottenham's last four Premier League games, scoring against both Aston Villa and Manchester City.

But despite his growing influence in Ange Postecoglou's side, the North Londoners remain open to offloading their 2019 summer signing as they hunt for new faces in midfield.

Chelsea and England ace Conor Gallagher is one of a number of options Spurs are considering in the engine room, according to the report.

While Lo Celso is exploring his options amid interest from the Camp Nou, Spurs could leave themselves incredibly short if they sanctioned an immediate move.

Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr are set to miss most of January due to their expected participation in the Africa Cup of Nations, while Maddison remains on the treatment table and Rodrigo Bentancur is out until February.
