Tottenham, Newcastle and Manchester United could take advantage of Valencia's cash crisis to poach Giorgi Mamardashvili.

The highly-rated Georgian keeper, 23, has been a standout player for Los Che since arriving from Dinamo Tbilisi in 2021.

But according to reports in Spain, Valencia may be forced to sell as they try to balance the books following struggles with crippling debt.

Mamardashvili, who has won 14 caps for Georgia, is considered among the best young stoppers in world football.

He has already racked up 146 first-team appearances despite his tender years and is known for his ability on the ball, which would suit teams playing a possession-based approach.

Newcastle are in the most need of the chasing trio as they will be without No1 Nick Pope for several months due to a dislocated shoulder — the Magpies have also been linked with Crystal Palace keeper Sam Johnstone.

United, meanwhile, have endured well-documented issues with big-money arrival Andre Onana and could decide to move on from the Cameroon star.

Spurs look to have unearthed a gem in Guglielmo Vicario but may feel Mamardashvili has more potential than the 27-year-old Italian.
