Tomas Soucek wants to enjoy more glory with West Ham after extending his stay at the club until 2027.

Midfielder Soucek, 28, helped the Irons win the Europa Conference League last season and is enjoying an impressive campaign so far, scoring eight goals in all competitions.

It takes his total tally in claret and blue to 30 in 182 appearances since joining from Slavia Prague in the summer of 2020.

The Czech Republic international, who was due to be out of cotnract at the end of the season, said: "It has been four years since I joined West Ham and I have enjoyed every moment.

"Coming to England was a new experience for me and we have been successful in the time I have been here.

"We have won a trophy, had good results in the Premier League and I am happy with myself. I have played nearly every minute and I feel the fans appreciate me here.

"This was a big part of the reason I wanted to extend my contract because I feel this is my home now and I want to achieve even more in the future with this great club."

The Irons are currently sixth in the Premier League and are chasing more European silverware after topping their Europa Conference League group.

Hammers boss David Moyes, 60, added: "Tomas did a magnificent job to help us avoid relegation when he first arrived here in 2020 and since then he has played a major part in the progress we have made and the success we have enjoyed.

"He is a model professional, gives absolutely everything for his team every time he steps on the pitch and is a hugely popular character, loved by the players, staff and everyone at the club."
