- Inter Milan and Juventus meet in the Derby on Sunday
- Napoli can cement top spot with win at home to Lecce on Saturday
- Monza and rock-bottom Venezia meet in crunch clash

Napoli top the Serie A standings after eight rounds of matches and Antonio Conte's men will expect to increase their lead when they host Lecce on Saturday.

The pick of the Week 9 action, however, comes from the San Siro on Sunday afternoon when Inter Milan welcome Juventus for the latest edition of the Derby d'Italia.

The status of Bologna's home clash with AC Milan is in the balance after the original fixture was postponed on Thursday due to flooding.

We have previewed the remaining nine matches from the ninth round in Italy's top-flight.

Udinese vs Cagliari (Friday, 5.30pm)

Udinese have been outgunned by Roma, Inter and AC Milan in recent weeks, but they have claimed 13 points from a possible 15 in their other five Serie A matches and can get the better of Cagliari.

Score prediction: Udinese 2-1 Cagliari

Torino vs Como (Friday, 7.45pm)

Torino are on a three-match losing run in Serie A, but the hosts have scored twice in each of those matches, so they do not lack attacking threat.

Como, meanwhile, have found the net in their last five matches.

Score prediction: Torino 2-2 Como

Napoli vs Lecce (Saturday, 2pm)

Napoli have won six of their last seven matches and can ease past Lecce.

The Serie A leaders have averaged three goals per game in their last five home matches in all competitions, while Lecce have failed to score in their last four.

Score prediction: Napoli 3-0 Lecce

Atalanta vs Hellas Verona (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Atalanta failed to find a way past Celtic on Wednesday night, but the Bergamo boys spurned a host of chances and can return to winning ways against Verona.

The visitors have lost four of their last five, but have scored in four of those matches.

Score prediction: Atalanta 3-1 Hellas Verona

Parma vs Empoli (Sunday, 11.30am)

Parma are winless in six and may find Empoli a tough nut to crack. The visitors have suffered narrow defeats to Lazio and Napoli in their last two outings, but were previously unbeaten in eight in all competitions.

Score prediction: Parma 1-1 Empoli

Marco Baroni has seen Lazio win five of their last six matches in all competitions.

Lazio vs Genoa (Sunday, 2pm)

Lazio have won five of their last six matches in all competitions and can shrug off the tight Europa League turnaround to defeat Genoa.

The visitors have claimed just two points from their last six Serie A games.

Score prediction: Lazio 2-1 Genoa

Monza vs Venezia (Sunday, 4pm)

Monza earned a confidence-boosting first Serie A win of the season at Verona last week and can double up against rock-bottom Venezia.

The visitors' morale must be low after suffering five losses from their last six games.

Score prediction: Monza 1-0 Venezia

Inter Milan vs Juventus (Sunday, 5pm)

Last season's runaway champions Inter have hit their straps after a slow start, winning their last five matches in all competitions and they can take the Derby d'Italia spoils.

Juve remain unbeaten in Serie A, but lack attacking firepower, scoring just five goals in their last six.

Score prediction: Inter Milan 1-0 Juventus

Fiorentina vs Roma (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Fiorentina are on a fine run and should fancy their chances of beating inconsistent Roma, La Viola having claimed 10 points from their last four Serie A games.

The visitors continue to struggle on their travels, failing to win in five road matches in all competitions.

Score prediction: Fiorentina 2-1 Roma
