The Premier League returns after the international break with an action-packed Saturday, with eight games scheduled across the day.

Manchester United suffered a humbling defeat to rivals Liverpool in their last game and will be hoping to bounce back as they visit Southampton.

Chelsea have had plenty of issues off the field and will be looking to put that behind them when they take on Bournemouth.

Southampton vs Manchester United (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Bet 1: Both teams to score

United’s defensive frailties have been on full show already this season and Southampton could be the latest team to expose them.

Seven of the last 10 meetings between these two have seen both teams find the net and the same is fancied to land in this one.

Bet 2:  Bruno Ferndandes to score anytime

No United player has taken more shots this season than Bruno Fernandes, who has got off eight attempts.

The Red Devils’ captain, who will be on set-piece duties, netted 10 league goals last term and could get his first of the new campaign here.

Bet 3: Over 10.5 corners

Despite struggling, Southampton have racked up the corner count on their return to the Premier League, winning 24 in their three games.

United have won 16 and both teams look likely to combine for 11 or more in this game.

Bournemouth vs Chelsea (Saturday, 8pm)

Bet 1: Bournemouth or draw double chance

Chelsea have had a number of off-the-field issues over the international break and that could spill over into their performance on the pitch when they visit Bournemouth.

The Cherries showed their will to win when coming back from 2-0 down with 87 minutes gone to beat Everton 3-2 last time out and they can avoid defeat here.

Bet 2: Cole Palmer to score anytime

Cole Palmer was pulled out of England duties this week but Chelsea were likely just being cautious with their player and he is expected to play here.

The 22-year-old, who is his team’s penalty taker, has already got off the mark this season and he can add to his tally at the Vitality Stadium.

Bet 3: Over 2.5 goals

Chelsea’s three Premier League games this term have produced 12 goals and Bournemouth’s last outing was a five-goal thriller.

Two of the last three meetings between these two have produced over 2.5 goals and another high-scoring could be on the cards.
