- Liverpool and Manchester City look to maintain their 100% start
- Everton and Southampton are still looking to pick up their first point
- The 196th North London derby takes place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday
The Premier League returns after the international break, with all 20 teams in action in week four across Saturday and Sunday.
Here are our score predictions for all 10 matches, starting with Saturday’s early kick off at Southampton.
Southampton vs Man Utd (Saturday, 12:30pm)
It’s three defeats out of three for newly promoted Saints and they face a Man Utd team that they haven’t beaten in their last 15 meetings.
There have been two or more goals in the Red Devils’ last 12 Premier League away games, while Southampton have already conceded eight goals in four games in all competitions this season.
Score prediction: Southampton 1-3 Man Utd
Brighton vs Ipswich (Saturday, 3pm)
Seven points from three games has surpassed early-season expectations of Brighton, who have scored six times during that run.
They face an Ipswich team that scored more goals than anyone else in the Championship last season and have shown they won’t take a step back.
Score prediction: Brighton 2-1 Ipswich
Crystal Palace vs Leicester (Saturday, 3pm)
Having held on to Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi, Palace will feel more upbeat about the season ahead, having only collected one point so far.
Leicester also have one point from three matches, with the Foxes managing to find the net in all of those league fixtures.
Score prediction: Crystal Palace 2-1 Leicester
Fulham vs West Ham (Saturday, 3pm)
Fulham did the Premier League double over West Ham last season, including a 5-0 victory in this fixture.
Both teams are still trying to gel after bringing in several new signings over the summer and won’t be disappointed with a share of the spoils.
Score prediction: Fulham 1-1 West Ham
Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest (Saturday, 3pm)
An impressive 100% record under their new manager sees Liverpool sat second going into week four, with Arne Slot’s men yet to concede a goal.
They beat Forest 3-0 at Anfield last season and it’s worth noting that Diogo Jota has scored three times in the Reds’ last two home games against Saturday’s opponents.
Score prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Nottingham Forest
Man City vs Brentford (Saturday, 3pm)
It’s now 31 home league games unbeaten for Pep Guardiola’s men, while Erling Haaland already has seven goals to his name this term.
Brentford were the last team to win at the Etihad in the league, back in November 2022, but a repeat performance looks unlikely.
Score prediction: Man City 2-0 Brentford
Aston Villa vs Everton (Saturday, 5:30pm)
Villa are unbeaten in their last 10 league meetings with Everton and Unai Emery’s men already have two wins under their belt this season.
In contrast, the Toffees are without a point and lost in dramatic fashion at home to Bournemouth before the break, with injuries still impacting their thin squad.
Score prediction: Aston Villa 2-0 Everton
Bournemouth vs Chelsea (Saturday, 8pm)
These two teams have scored nine goals between them in their first three league games, with Bournemouth a point ahead of the Blues.
The Cherries were fortunate to beat Everton and Chelsea look to be a side better suited to shining on the road right now.
Score prediction: Bournemouth 1-3 Chelsea
Tottenham vs Arsenal (Sunday, 2pm)
Arsenal are unbeaten in the last four derby games but will be without two key players, Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard, due to suspension and injury.
Home advantage will further boost Spurs’ hopes and a draw would keep both teams on track.
Score prediction: Tottenham 2-2 Arsenal
Wolves vs Newcastle (Sunday, 4:30pm)
Four of the last five matches between these two teams at Molineux have finished in draws.
Newcastle drew their only other away game this season, at Bournemouth, while Wolves drew with Nottingham Forest last time out.
Score prediction: Wolves 1-1 Newcastle
