From big-money transfers to quiet escapes, we assess the players who could be set for a change of club this winter.

Ivan Toney

Ivan Toney's eight-month ban for gambling offences is nearly over but Brentford may not feel the benefit of his return for too long.

The striker is said to be a target for Arsenal and Chelsea, having previously admitted that he could see himself playing for the Gunners.

Jadon Sancho

The unusual scenario sums up the chaos at Stamford Bridge, with a player who has captained them regularly and holds the club dear to his heart potentially leaving to help solve Financial Fair Play issues.

If he is forced out the door, a switch to Tottenham is possible. Ange Postecoglou was said to be keen on signing the England international in the summer.

Kalvin Phillips

The most likely mover of the month must be Kalvin Phillips.

The Three Lions star opted to stick it out at Manchester City over the summer but has seen no improvement to his playing time and must now realise it is time to move on from the Etihad.

The former Leeds midfielder needs minutes to guarantee a place in Gareth Southgate's Euro 2024 squad and there are clubs queueing up to offer him them.

Joao Palhinha

Palhinha was all but a Bayern Munich player on summer transfer deadline day, being pictured with a club shirt and conducting other media duties before Fulham pulled the plug on a deal.

It is to the Portuguese international's credit that he has continued to perform admirably for the Cottagers this season but now could be the time to move on.
