Noni Madueke says he feels like Chelsea is his home as the Englishman continues to settle in at Stamford Bridge.

Madueke, 21, joined the Blues in January from PSV Eindhoven and made 12 Premier League appearances in the second half of the season.

The England Under-21s winger enjoyed a strong finish to the campaign and is determined to hit the ground running under new manager Mauricio Pochettino in August's top-flight opener against Liverpool.

Having worked with the Argentine head coach as a Tottenham academy prospect, Madueke will have an advantage in pre-season and knows exactly what to expect from his boss.

On life in West London, he said: "Chelsea definitely feels like home.

"It's been a great few months of learning for me with some successes too, on an individual note.

"Everyone here has huge aspirations, individually and collectively, but I feel like the process we're in right now is just about getting a little bit better every day, getting better every game, and growing closer."

Madueke signed a bumper deal with the Blues that will keep him at the club until 2030.

It gives the youngster a chance to really find his feet in the Premier League after being refused a chance to shine at Spurs.

He said: "Next season for me is just about becoming one of the top players in my position in the league and contributing to wins with goals and assists and helping my team-mates. That's my aim.

"I've got the European Under-21 Championship and then, after the final hopefully, my focus will switch back on pre-season and making the best impression possible on the new manager."
