Jarrod Bowen has signed a new long-term deal with West Ham.

Bowen's previous deal was due to expire in 2025 and boss David Moyes broke the good news after the Hammers picked up a 2-2 draw with Newcastle at the London Stadium.

The Scot said: "Jarrod has signed a new deal, which is great news for us here at West Ham.

"He’s done amazing since he’s been here. He continues to improve.

“If you think of his own development as an individual, he started off at Hereford, moved to Hull and now in the Premier League and getting a chance to be in the England squad. I think he’ll get better as well.”

Speaking on West Ham's website, 26-year-old Bowen added: "I'm so pleased to have signed a new long-term contract at West Ham.

"Everyone knows what this club means to me, so committing my future until 2030 means so much to me and my family.

"I've loved every minute of my time here."

Bowen has been in fine form so far this season, scoring five times in nine games.

That impressive start to the campaign earned him a recall to the England squad for games against Australia and Italy later this month.

He has scored 45 goals in 166 appearances for the Hammers since joining from Hull in 2020.

One of those strikes came in the Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina in June, when he netted a late winner to secure a first piece of silverware for the Hammers since 1980.

Bowen said: "Winning the Europa Conference League in Prague was an amazing moment, scoring the winner in the last minute will be something I’ll cherish forever.

"It's left us all wanting that feeling again and again — we want to create more memories together."

West Ham have built on their European success so far this term, despite losing Declan Rice to Arsenal in the summer.

New signings Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse have filled the gap in midfield and the Hammers have won both of their Europa League games.
