Mani Dieseruvwe scored deep into stoppage time to snatch Hartlepool a point in a 1-1 draw against Wealdstone and maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

Pools made a bright start as Anthony Mancini brought a save from goalkeeper Archie Matthews at the near post in the fifth minute.

But Wealdstone went on to enjoy the better of the first half and after Micah Obiero had seen one shot clear the crossbar, he opened the scoring in the 39th minute – the first goal Hartlepool had conceded this season.

Dieseruvwe and defender Tom Parkes headed wide and Kieron Freeman missed from close range as Pools searched for a leveller.

And after Matthews had made a superb stop to deny Dieseruvwe from distance, the forward rescued Hartlepool in the eighth minute of time added on.
