More silverware could be heading Manchester City's way on Sunday

- Man City have won 25 of their 27 Premier League games against teams outside the top six
- West Ham have conceded 15 goals in their last four away matches
- Recommended bet: Man City to win 4-1

Erling Haaland's second-half brace gave Man City a hard-fought 2-0 win at Tottenham on Tuesday, putting them on the brink of a sixth Premier League title in seven seasons.

City kick off the final day of term two points clear of Arsenal, who must beat Everton at home and hope the leaders slip up against visitors West Ham.

However, the Hammers, playing their final game under manager David Moyes, have a woeful record away to City in the Premier League and their last two road trips ended in a 5-2 loss at Crystal Palace and a 5-0 rout at Chelsea.

Team news

Stefan Ortega will start in goal for City as Ederson suffered a fractured eye socket in the midweek win at Tottenham. Kevin De Bruyne is expected to overcome a knock and the Citizens have no other injury concerns.

Man City loanee Kalvin Phillips is ineligible to face his parent club and centre-backs Nayef Aguerd and Dinos Mavropanos are struggling with injuries.

The stats

Man City have won 25 of their 27 Premier League games against teams outside the top six.

City have won and both teams have scored in four of their last five home matches.

The Citizens have scored 30 goals in their last eight league fixtures.

Nine of West Ham's 13 league defeats have featured over 3.5 goals.

The Hammers have conceded 15 goals in their last four away matches.

West Ham have lost 15 of their last 17 Premier League fixtures away to Man City.

Prediction

Sunday's match will be David Moyes' last game in charge of West Ham

Pep Guardiola's Man City sides are renowned for their ruthless runs during the second half of the season and the 2023-24 campaign has been no exception.

City have won 17 and drawn three of their 20 league matches since Christmas and those draws came against Chelsea, Liverpool and title rivals Arsenal.

The Gunners are desperate for some final-day heroics from West Ham, who pose a goal threat with Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta playing off striker Michail Antonio.

But the Hammers have been far from solid away from home this season, conceding five goals at Chelsea, Palace and Fulham, four at Aston Villa and Newcastle and three in defeats at Liverpool, Brentford and Manchester United.

They are up against a City side who have found the net 30 times in their eight games since the goalless stalemate with Arsenal at the end of March.

City had to overcome final-day scares before sealing the title in 2011-12 and 2021-22 but, having won their last three home matches 4-1, 5-1 and 5-1, a smooth success is expected against West Ham and the 4-1 City correct score is worth a bet.
