Liverpool boasted five different goalscorers as they beat Norwich 5-2 in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Here are five key talking points from an entertaining clash in the North West.

Top of the Klopps

With the news of Jurgen Klopp's pending departure a major shock to the red half of Merseyside, Anfield wasted no time in serenading their manager ahead of kick-off.

The 56-year-old's name was belted out from all four corners as Klopp beamed and clapped in appreciation of his loyal supporters.

A sensational rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone followed as the boss greeted compatriot David Wagner before taking his seat in the dugout.

However the season ends for Liverpool, there is no doubt the fans will be committed to the current regime until the very end.

Made in Germany

Klopp and Wagner know each other well and the former described the opposing manager as a "best friend and brother" in his programme notes.

The Canaries boss served as Klopp's best man at his wedding after they originally met as players for Mainz.

In management, the pair worked together for four years at Borussia Dortmund and their approach towards a game of football is almost identical.

Although on paper there was a significant gulf in quality between the two sides, Norwich and Wagner were determined to give a good account of themselves at one of the toughest places to play in Europe.

Young guns firing

Liverpool fielded a blend of youth and experience with Conor Bradley earning his fourth start in a row while James McConnell partnered Ryan Gravenberch and Curtis Jones in midfield.

Both academy products had a hand in the Reds' two first-half goals, with McConnell assisting the first for Jones and Bradley setting up the second for Darwin Nunez 12 minutes later.

Klopp has never been afraid to throw his young guns into matches and their continued success this season proves the Premier League leaders have the depth to compete on all four fronts.

Jot's hot streak

Diogo Jota was among the goals again for Liverpool

Since returning from a muscle injury in December, Diogo Jota has been prolific, tallying eight goal contributions in seven games.

And his strike today put the game out of reach for the Championship side, who fought valiantly but ultimately could not deal with the world-class talent Liverpool possess.

The 36-cap Portugal international stepped up again in Mohamed Salah's absence and is one of many reasons to suggest that the club is in safe hands when their Egyptian departs.

The charge is on

Liverpool's stacked bench was put to full use in the second half and it almost felt unfair on Norwich when Virgil van Dijk, Dominik Szoboszlai, Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold were introduced.

The latter three were returning from injury spells while their captain immediately took charge of proceedings by netting the Reds' fourth of the game.

Despite Borja Sainz scoring an excellent consolation for the visitors, the 2019 Champions League winners looked more assured and dominant with their biggest stars back on the pitch.

And with the business end of the season fast approaching, their return will only mount expectations of a glittering end to Klopp's reign.
