With two games postponed this week, there are eight games on the horizon in LaLiga, with fixtures taking place from Friday to Monday.

Alaves vs Mallorca (Friday, 8pm)

This week's LaLiga action starts in Vitoria-Gasteiz as strugglers Alaves host top-six chasing Mallorca.

Alaves beat Compostela 1-0 in the Copa del Rey in midweek, but they have lost five in a row in LaLiga. Mallorca have only lost one of their last six, keeping a clean sheet in three of those games.

Score prediction: Alaves 0-1 Mallorca

Osasuna vs Real Valladolid (Saturday, 1pm)

Osasuna sit eighth in LaLiga heading into the weekend, 11 places and 10 points better off than Real Valladolid.

The hosts have only lost one of their previous six in the top flight, while Valladolid have won one of their last 10, conceding at least two goals in their previous five matches.

Score prediction: Osasuna 2-1 Real Valladolid

Girona vs Leganes (Saturday, 3.15pm)

Only one point and one place separates the two sides ahead of kick-off, but the hosts have lost two on the spin and won just one of their last seven league games.

Leganes beat Celta Vigo last time out and have lost one of their previous five league encounters, although they are winless on the road this season.

Score prediction: Girona 1-1 Leganes

Atletico Madrid v Las Palmas (Sunday, 1pm)

Atletico Madrid fell to a 1-0 defeat to Real Betis last weekend but they are unbeaten at home this season.

Las Palmas have won two in a row in the league, but they have lost four of their five away league matches.

Score prediction: Atletico Madrid 2-0 Las Palmas

Barcelona vs Espanyol (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Fans can look forward to the Derbi Barceloni on Sunday afternoon, with Barcelona aiming to win their sixth game in a row.

Confidence will be high after they beat Real Madrid 4-0 in El Clasico and they have scored three or more goals in their previous five matches in all competitions, while Espanyol have lost five of their last six in the league.

Score prediction: Barcelona 3-0 Espanyol

Sevilla vs Real Sociedad (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Two of the biggest teams in Spain meet on Sunday evening in what could be a close game.

Sevilla have won three in a row in LaLiga at home, while Sociedad have not lost any of their previous four on the road in all competitions.

Score prediction: Sevilla 1-1 Real Sociedad

Athletic Bilbao vs Real Betis (Sunday, 8pm)

One of the games of the weekend could take place at the San Mames as Bilbao host Real Betis.

Bilbao have only lost once at home since August 2023, and even though Real Betis are unbeaten in four in all competitions, they have only won once away from home in LaLiga this season.

Score prediction: Athletic Bilbao 2-0 Real Betis

Celta Vigo vs Getafe (Monday 8pm)

Celta Vigo are three points and four places better off than Getafe entering the weekend, but the visitors are unbeaten in four and are showing signs of improvement.

Celta have already lost six games this season, so the visitors can take something from this encounter.

Score prediction: Celta Vigo 1-1 Getafe
