Substitute Klaidi Lolos scored a dramatic stoppage-time winner to give Bolton a 1-0 Sky Bet League One victory over shattered Peterborough.

Lolos bundled the ball over the line in the ninth minute of added time after Dion Charles’ penalty and follow-up header were saved by Nicholas Bilokapic.

But Posh, watched by manager Darren Ferguson’s father Sir Alex Ferguson, were furious about the amount of stoppage time awarded by referee Ollie Yates.

The allotted six minutes had already expired when defender George Johnston was pushed to the ground from a corner.

Wanderers, with their own boss Ian Evatt serving the final game of a three-match touchline ban, dominated and should have wrapped up the points without the late drama.

Johnston headed wide from Josh Sheehan’s first-half corner and Victor Adeboyejo missed a similar headed chance in the second.

Bilokapic produced a string of fine saves, including outstanding efforts to deny substitute Charles and Aaron Collins in the second period.

Peterborough created far fewer chances but Bilokapic’s opposite number Luke Southwood conjured up a reflex save when Bolton defender and former Posh player Rico Santos threatened to put through his own net.
