Kit Graham claims it was a "no-brainer" to extend her stay with Women's Super League side Tottenham until June 2025.

The Kent-born attacker, 28, has flourished this season after boss Robert Vilahamn decided to drop her into midfield.

With 14 appearances and two goals in all competitions under her belt already, Graham is relishing the rest of the campaign.

And she jumped at the chance to sign a new contract at a time when Spurs are bidding to challenge the big guns.

Graham told the club's official website: "It was a no-brainer when the club approached me to offer a new contract. This is where I want to be and I'm enjoying the project Robert is bringing across.

"When you come to the end of your contract, you're always wondering what will happen next. It allows me to settle a bit and I can focus on the football now.

"You can already see the progress we've made this season and I can only see the club getting better and bigger, which is exciting.

"I think the performances we've been putting in are a complete contrast to last season.

"With the belief in the squad when we concede goals, we can come back and win games. We have shown a lot more in the team and I want to be a part of it."

Vilahamn, 41, is keen for his players to show their versatility and Graham is enjoying being deployed as a deep-lying midfielder.

She added: "That role offers me the chance to get on the ball more and look to create opportunities.

"There's still a lot for me to learn but I enjoy learning from the likes of Drew [Spence], Eveliina [Summanen] and Olga [Athinen].

"The defensive side I'm not used to, so I'm enjoying learning a new aspect of my game and continuing my development."

Vilahamn's side will be looking to leapfrog Liverpool in the table when they travel to Prenton Park on Sunday. The two teams are level on 18 points but the Reds boast a superior goal difference.
