Josh Umerah scored a second-half equaliser as Dagenham & Redbridge claimed a 1-1 draw in their National League clash at Maidenhead.

James Golding had put Maidenhead on course for victory by marking his second debut for the club following his recent return with the opener on the stroke of half-time.

Dion Pereira had earlier hit the bar for Daggers, who also went close to an equaliser when Trent Rendall shot narrowly wide just before the hour.

The leveller came when summer signing Umerah turned in after 62 minutes after Craig Ross had saved from Harry Phipps. Shawn McCoulsky went close to a late winner for the hosts but the spoils were shared.
