Permutation talks are doing the rounds as the group stage at Euro 2024 starts to get interesting and there are three more intriguing matches on the cards on Friday.

Slovakia take on Ukraine in the day's earlier kick-off but Group D is the focus in the afternoon with Poland up against Austria and the Netherlands clashing with France.

Ahead of Friday's matches, Liam Flin has compiled Bet Builders for two of the games.

Poland vs Austria (Friday, 5pm)

Bet 1: Austria to win

Austria lost their Euro 2024 opener against France 1-0 but they were nonetheless one of the more impressive teams in the first batch of matches and can bounce back with victory over Poland.

Austria edged possession and completed more passes than the French in Dusseldorf and were beaten only as a consequence of Maximilian Wober's own goal.

Prior to Euro 2024, Austria had strung together a seven-match unbeaten run in all competitions, thrashing Turkey 6-1 and beating Germany in the process.

Poland often flop at major tournaments and they could be set for back-to-back defeats after losing their first match 2-1 against the Netherlands.

Bet 2: Christoph Baumgartner to score or give an assist

France curtailed Austria's attacking threat in Dusseldorf but Christoph Baumgartner still managed two shots on target and he could be a danger going forward against Poland.

Baumgartner had scored in five successive matches for Austria coming into Euro 2024 and plays a more advanced role for his country than he does for club side RB Leipzig.

Despite that and limited game time, Baumgartner had seven goal involvements in the Bundesliga last term and he is worth picking to score or assist.

Bet 3: Przemyslaw Frankowski to concede a foul

Wide man Przemyslaw Frankowski was drawn into two fouls for Poland against the Netherlands last time out and he could again have a tough time of it against Austria.

Frankowski was up against Dutch ace Cody Gakpo in his opener and will likely face off against Marcel Sabitzer on Friday, so he is again worth a bet to commit a foul.

Netherlands vs France (Friday, 8pm)

With Kylian Mbappe set to miss out, France need someone else to step up and Marcus Thuram could be that man

Bet 1: France to win

France won without playing at their best in their opening game against Austria at Euro 2024 and they can again record maximum points against the Netherlands.

Les Bleus beat the Dutch 4-0 and 2-1 during Euro 2024 qualifying and, even with Kylian Mbappe set to miss out with a broken nose, they should get the job done.

Bet 2: Cody Gakpo to have a shot on target

Cody Gakpo was one of the standout performers on matchday one at Euro 2024, managing five shots, two of which were on target.

And the Liverpool man is worth a bet to steer at least one effort on target against the French on matchday two.

Bet 3: Marcus Thuram to score or give an assist

With no Mbappe in the team, France will have to look elsewhere for inspiration against the Netherlands and Marcus Thuram could be influential.

The Inter Milan forward scored 13 goals and laid on seven assists in Serie A last season and is worth backing to do one or the other against the Netherlands.

Thuram was a livewire last time out, managing five shots and one key pass in Dusseldorf against Austria.
