Enzo Fernandez admits he has no desire to leave Chelsea in the near future and is grateful for how he is being treated at the club.

The Argentine midfielder, 23, scored the third goal in a 3-1 win at Crystal Palace last night and put exit rumours to bed after the match.

He said: "I don't want to leave Chelsea. I'm feeling very good here with my team-mates and the coaching staff and have done since the day I arrived.

"The people at the club are treating me very well and I'm grateful for that.

"I will continue here for as long as they want me to. 

"I don't know where those [leaving] rumours came from but I totally deny them."

Mbappe returns

Kylian Mbappe will be ready to start Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League clash with Real Sociedad, according to manager Luis Enrique.

The French forward was kept on the bench in last Saturday's 3-1 win over Lille but is back in contention against the LaLiga club.

Enrique said: "When a team has a player like Kylian Mbappe, of course we know that the more he plays the better, because we all benefit from that.

"There is no doubt about it. He could have played [on Saturday] if it had been a final but it wasn't, it was not worth the risk.

"Kylian Mbappe is available, just like the other players.

"They [Sociedad] are certainly one of the best teams in the competition, that is why they qualified as group winners. They were in a group with last year's finalists [Inter Milan]."

Eriksson to lead Liverpool legends

Former England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson will be part of the Liverpool management team for their legends charity match against Ajax next month.

The 76-year-old has been diagnosed with cancer and told he likely has less than a year to live by doctors.

After revealing he is a Reds fan and always wanted to manage them during his career, Eriksson will now be handed the opportunity.

Joining him in the dugout will be the likes of Ian Rush, John Barnes and John Aldridge for the annual event at Anfield.

Several squad players, including Jerzy Dudek, Martin Skrtel and Ryan Babel have already been announced.

The two previous legends matches against Manchester United and Celtic raised £1.45 million for the LFC Foundation and the club will be hoping to reach a similar total on March 23.

No Bellingham? No problem

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is backing his players to cope without Jude Bellingham when they return to Champions League action against RB Leipzig.

Los Blancos are looking to win their 15th European crown but will have to take on their German opponents with a weakened side tonight as Bellingham sits out with an ankle injury.

Ancelotti said: "We never think about those [players] who aren't here.

"It's more fair to think about those who are here. Without Bellingham, we've won four games out of four [this season]. 

"Those who've replaced him have done well, whether it's Brahim [Diaz] or Joselu.

"Bellingham is a very good player like [Thibaut] Courtois, [Eder] Militao, [David] Alaba but tomorrow it's an opportunity to be even more motivated."

Port Vale unveil Moore

League One side Port Vale have announced Darren Moore as their new manager.

The Valiants sit 21st in England's third tier and are winless in 2024 but will be hoping the 49-year-old can guide them to safety.

After signing a five-and-a-half-year deal, he said: "It's clear that Port Vale and I are perfectly aligned with our long-term aspirations both on and off the pitch.

"Our immediate aim is securing the club's League One status between now and the end of this season while putting the foundations in place to create a clear footballing identity. 

"The contract is a long-term commitment from both myself and Port Vale, it's a testament to the long-term vision of the club and a vision that we as a collective from myself, the supporters, the club staff and the players are all striving towards. 

"I am absolutely delighted to be here and I am thoroughly excited to get going."
