Dazzling Jota

Jurgen Klopp is delighted to have Diogo Jota fully fit and firing again for Liverpool.

Jota, 26, has netted four goals in his last two Premier League outings and will be looking to shoot down West Ham at the London Stadium tomorrow night.

Reds boss Klopp said: "He is an exceptional player, super smart, can play a lot of different positions. He has super interesting skills for an attacking player.

"Diogo this season had a really bad [calf] injury that kept him back, nothing else. If he stays fit he is an outstanding player.

"When you are that long injured you need rhythm, it is an ongoing season and nobody waits for you — that is the most difficult thing."

FA Cup kick-off dispute

The Metropolitan Police have labelled the FA Cup final a high-risk fixture

The FA Cup final will kick off no later than 4.45pm on June 3 after the Metropolitan Police deemed the Manchester derby at Wembley to be a high-risk fixture.

No decision has yet been taken regarding the kick-off time for the match between Manchester City and neighbours United but the police will not sanction a 5.30pm start.

United's penalty shootout victory over Brighton set up the first Manchester derby in a final in the competition's 151-year history.

ITV are preparing to screen the match and the Epsom Derby on the same day.

The race had been due to start at 4.30pm but neither the Jockey Club or broadcaster have confirmed whether the Met advice regarding the Cup final would affect their scheduling.

Have faith in Kane

Harry Redknapp believes Harry Kane will stick around at Tottenham.

The England skipper, 29, is out of contract next summer and has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United at the end of the season.

But former Spurs boss Redknapp has not given up hope of Kane extending his stay in North London.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, he said: "Harry is so good. If he went to Man Utd, you could see them possibly winning the title.

"That is the difference he could make to a team. He's a leader, a great footballer.

"I think he'll stay at Tottenham — his life is good. I wouldn't be surprised if he signed a new contract."

Let us reimburse you

Tottenham's players have offered to reimburse the fans who travelled to Newcastle for Sunday's 6-1 drubbing.

A dismal showing at St James' Park prompted chairman Daniel Levy to show interim boss Cristian Stellini the door yesterday.

And Spurs, who will be led by Ryan Mason until the end of the season, will cover the cost of the match tickets for supporters who witnessed the collapse on Tyneside.

A statement released on Twitter said: "As a squad, we understand your frustration, your anger. It wasn't good enough.

"We know words aren't enough in situations like this but believe us, a defeat like this hurts.

"We appreciate your support, home and away, and with this in mind we would like to reimburse fans with the cost of their match tickets from St James' Park.

"We know this does not change what happened on Sunday and we will give everything to put things right against Manchester United on Thursday evening when, again, your support will mean everything to us.

"Together — and only together — can we move things forward."

Fifth-placed Spurs head to Old Trafford six points adrift of United, who occupy the final Champions League spot.

Let's be Frank

Frank Lampard will not allow his Chelsea flops to let the season peter out with a whimper.

The Blues have little to play for after crashing out of the Champions League at the hands of holders Real Madrid.

But while European football next season looks highly unlikely, Lampard will do all he can do ensure his side climb the table from their current lowly position of 11th in the Premier League.

Speaking ahead of tomorrow's visit from Brentford, Chelsea's caretaker boss said: "I don't have a mentality that there is nothing to play for.

"They have been fortunate at Chelsea to have had that for 15, 20 years.

"We now have seven games, three against the top four, so will be interesting to see how the players react."
